Sally Sims24 August 2025Just stayed at Metung Holiday Villas for 4 nights. The villa was a perfect location for our travels to Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Paynesville and of course Metung. The villa was beautifully clean, neat and with a wide variety of kitchen accessories for cooking during our holiday. We stayed in a two bedroom villa which was perfectly suitable for two adults. The grounds were immaculate and the staff very friendly. Lots of easily accessible rubbish bins to use. The playground and pool area also looked very nice. The villas are well-equipped with everything you need, including a kitchen for cooking, which made our stay very convenient. It’s only a 5-minute drive to the relaxing Metung Hot Springs and about 15 minutes to the Esplanade, so the location is perfect for both relaxation and exploring. The property itself is surrounded by nature, making it peaceful and ideal for nature lovers. Families will appreciate the on-site laundry facilities, a playground for kids, and a swimming pool. It’s a comfortable, family-friendly spot that feels like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient base in Metung. Caroline Rossely4 August 2025Had a lovely 4-night break at Metung Villas. There was nothing we needed, everything provided in impeccably kept cabins. Good quality fittings, split system aircon/ heating, large smart TV with streaming services, excellent kitchen equipment all made for a very cosy and comfortable stay. The setting is very beautiful and quiet, landscaped beautifully with an abundance of bird life, in a lovely wooded pocket 10 mins walk down to Metung town. There were four of us in two cabins and my travelling companions enjoyed it as much as myself. Kristy and Darren were so warm and friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommend this place to anyone, and if I come back to the area wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thank you hosts!Posted on Google
Robert Setterfield3 August 2025We stayed for 6 nights. Our cabin was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Nice leafy surrounds, and the kookaburra family at 4pm feed time are a joy to watch. As hikers and birdwatchers we recommend the Lonsdale eco-cruise from Lakes Entrance, and the clifftop and Kurrajong trails at the nearby Nyerimilang heritage estate. chris mcclelland29 July 2025What can i say, being the third time we have now stayed at Metung Holiday Villas this year. Everyone wants the best and to feel comfortable when booking accommodation. You pay for the experience and hope it's worth it. We were no different. We have now found that accommodation, that suites all our needs and expectations. No more hunting around, hoping we made the right decision, Metung Holiday Villas have everything your looking for. I highly recommend, this place. You will not regret this decision. Best Wishes. Chris. This is my second review of the same Holiday Park, we stayed at this week. What can i say, the absolute surprise was happening again, this time in a different cabin. Opened the door, beautiful clean presentation, heating on low, ceiling fans on low, spreading the warmth. Totaly clean and relaxing, comfortable furniture to chill out and just enjoy, nothing to do. We stayed another four nights and experienced a much needed holiday, safe, with out any issues or stess. Leave your car at the cabin, take a 10 minute walk to Metung Cafes, Coffe and Restaurants, right by the water. Darren and Kristy, the on site operators, are very approachable and will always look after your best interest, they also like a laugh. It was nice to know, where to go and know what to expect. Thank you again Chris. What an absolute surprise, opening the cabin door, to a beautifully presented, clean, light filled accommadation. The relaxed design and furniture layout was just so comfortable day in day out. Easy safe parking, right beside the cabin, gave us safe access to entry deck. All considerations, to provide us the best experience, had been implemented. The total park area was so clean and safe to walk, no night noise or interruptions at all. The operators, Darren and Kristy were genuinly happy, to assist you with any request or information, easy to speak with and have a laugh. This was our first time staying here, so central to other localities. We have already booked another 3 stays, throughout this year. Thank you for a great stay. Chris.
